In 2020, fashion is about a sophisticated balance: between minimal and
maximal lies a kind of hyper harmony that is both bold and subtle.
Color shift from bold brights to become more oxygenated and airy.
Clever combinations of warms and cools go beyond traditional hair
color.
This year, fashion’s form follows function and reflects our lifestyle
rather than defining it. Soft textures to sport chic to fashion glamour.
2020 style reflects the speed at which we live our lives. No one sticks
with just one look, 24/7.
So find your balance and then go beyond it.
CREATE A STATEMENT
For this year´s creative workshop, our host city was none other than Amsterdam; a hotspot for trends, inspiration and
creativity. The inspiring and exciting workshop sessions have the utmost importance for the creatives in developing
Goldwell’s annual HAIR | COLOR | STYLE statement.
TO START WITH ...
...our creative team received a trend forecast for fashion,
design and beauty for 2020 from an international trend agency.
And then the creative process began. Creatives brainstormed
for ideas and visualized them on mood boards.
AT THE END OF THE FIRST DAY ...
...the team was already aligned in the direction of some major
fashion trends. The following days were more oriented on colors,
shapes and texture, and then finally all of these creation and ideas
merged together to define the new fashion statements.
TO PICK UP WHERE THEY LEFT OFF ...
...the teams gathered again in February 2019 for a photo shoot in
the trendy city of Berlin. The creative team had the
opportunity to collaborate with a top celebrity stylist to create
the next great collections.
DURING THE WHOLE SHOOT ...
...the excitement of the team members was a tangible as they
transformed models using their ideas of colors, shapes and textures.
They were also very focused on their challenges to bring all these
ideas to life and create the latest Goldwell Editorial and
Couture Collection for 2020.
